Job Description
Overview
The Spot Welder 2nd Shift is responsible for setting up and operating a spot weld machine/gun, including changing and filing gun tips, adjusting welder settings, and programming the machine for various jobs.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a spot weld machine/gun.
- Change and file gun tips.
- Adjust welder settings.
- Push control buttons to program the machine for the job.
- Position parts in the tip or load and unload parts in the fixture.
