Overview

We are looking for a skilled, hands-on Machinist / Fabricator for a non-production role that emphasizes manual machining, fabrication, and welding. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real problems and building custom parts to keep equipment running.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual machining equipment (lathe, mill, drill press, band saw)
• Perform metal fabrication, bending, and forming
• Recreate worn or broken parts using measurement and practical problem-solving
• Fabricate and modify components
• Support the mechanical team with equipment repairs and modifications
• Respond to urgent production issues with fast, effective solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in manual machining, fabrication, or industrial environments
• Strong experience with manual lathe and mill
• Experience in fabrication and metalworking
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
