Position Overview

We are searching for a dedicated Welder skilled in MIG, TIG, and robotic welding systems. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating welding and brazing equipment to fabricate and repair metal components according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate gas welding and stick welding machines based on work orders and blueprints.
  • Perform brazing applications using clamps, fixtures, and torches to meet tolerance requirements.
  • Clean and prepare parts prior to welding to ensure quality.
  • Maintain accurate records of machine settings and job sheets.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools.
  • Report production discrepancies and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior work-related experience is helpful.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Familiarity with MIG, TIG, and robotic welding equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work for extended periods while standing, use repetitive hands and arms motion, sit, climb, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch

Employment Type & Compensation

  • This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
  • Pay rate is $21.00 per hour
  • Application Window: Open until filled

Work Schedule

  • 1st Shift | Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Occasional Friday OT
