Job Description
Overview
Our Westminster, Colorado location is seeking welders with entry to master-level welding skills to join our team. We weld mostly precision sheet-metal but must also be able to weld tubing, focusing on quality and production work.
Responsibilities
- Receive work order with instructions on which parts to work on and what processes to take them through.
- Currently primarily MIG welding, but TIG Welding on stainless-steel, aluminum, and carbon.
- Prepare metal, set up welding machine and make any calibration adjustments along with light machine maintenance on welding equipment as needed.
- Communicate with floor supervisors.
- Maintain excellent records.
- Focus on keeping the hood down and sparks flying.
- Setup fixtures and jigs to streamline workflow.
- Participate in continuous improvement processes.
- Interpret engineering drawings, procedures and welding symbols.
- Commit to core values.
- Be a team player.
- Ability to train other welders in TIG.
