Strait Mechanical is hiring for a certified industrial pipe welder in the Denver Metro area. The company specializes in Plumbing, Heating & Process Pipe Welding, delivering top-quality welds that consistently pass rigorous X-Ray and NDT testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping systems.
• Execute code-compliant welding (ASME, AWS, and API standards) using SMAW, GTAW, and FCAW processes.
• Interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and technical specifications accurately.
• Prepare, cut, and fit pipe using trade-specific tools.
• Maintain strict adherence to all OSHA and project safety regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of commercial/industrial pipe welding experience.
• Ability to pass a rigorous welding test (e.g., SMAW 6G position test).
• Strong understanding of ASME/AWS piping codes.
• Reliable transportation and basic hand tools/welding hood.
