Welding Shop in Phoenix, AZ

Overview

We are a growing, family-owned manufacturer located in Tempe and are looking for a dependable, hard-working individual to join our fabrication team. Experience in plastic fabrication or welding is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Perform thermal welding, solvent bonding, and hand welding
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Assemble and fabricate plastic components
• Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely
• Follow work instructions and production plans
• Maintain quality standards and a clean work area
• Work with engineers and designers when needed

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (birth certificate or passport required)
• Must pass drug screening (including THC/marijuana)
• Must pass 7-year background check
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Basic math skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Previous welding or fabrication experience is helpful, but not required
