Responsibilities

• Respond positively to the direction of supervisors and leads.
• Set up and operate production machines.
• Load and unload materials while ensuring piece/part integrity.
• Complete shop forms including move tags and inspection verification tags.
• Operate equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Use safety guarding apparel including safety glasses and metatarsal boots.
• Operate a forklift if qualified and certified.

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of measurements on a tape measure.
• Ability to stand and move about the shop floor for at least half of the shift.
• Ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds frequently.
• Ability to work over ten hours a week in overtime when required.
• Ability to use e-mail.
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Satisfactory safety record and acceptable work history.
