Overview
The Welding Intern will assist in various stages of the production process within the Production (Cladding, Machining or Welding Department), supporting the team with scheduling, equipment setup, and resource coordination. This role provides practical experience in production operations and helps in the successful execution of production projects.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with daily tasks related to their field of study or department.
- Collaborating with various team members and departments on shop projects.
- Carrying out research and gathering data to analyze defect trends, safety observations, and production flow.
- Attending and participating in daily production meetings and workshops.
- Creating and maintaining documentation and reports.
- Learning about the TechnipFMC organization’s policies, procedures, and culture.
- Providing ideas and suggestions in brainstorming sessions.
- Helping organize and manage events.
- Performing administrative tasks as needed.
- Observing and learning from experienced workshop members.
