Responsibilities

• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of refinery equipment including process units, tank farms, buildings, and yards.
• Completes routine paperwork and work orders regarding the repair of process equipment.
• Must be able to work mandatory overtime.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• A valid driver's license required.
• Must pass assessments and show evidence of being qualified to weld carbon steel pipe with GTAW and SMAW processes.
• Must qualify to similar MPC Welding Procedures per ASME Section IX.
• Must pass Marathon's written test and a hands-on skill demonstration test.
• Must be able to wear appropriate PPE and physically perform job duties in an outdoor process facility.
• Must participate in pre-employment assessment, background check, and drug/alcohol/medical screening.
• NCCCO fixed Cab Certification required within 9 months of starting date if not already certified.
