Overview

As a Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality weldments to meet customer demand.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality weldments using provided blueprints or documentation.
• Set up, operate, adjust, and regulate welding machines.
• Weld with or without the use of fixtures.
• Utilize various tools to cut, grind, bevel, fit metals together, and remove slag.
• Perform designated maintenance functions and assume ownership for quality of weldments.
• Participate in training and perform daily 5S activities.
• Maintain all safety standards.

Requirements

• Ability to weld parts using GMAW MIG.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and basic shop math.
• Ability to operate overhead hoist.
• Minimum of 6 months experience and/or associate's degree or certification.
• Adhere to all health and safety rules and maintain good housekeeping 5S.

• Day Shift - 5am to 3:00pm, 20-minute paid lunch.
• Flexible start times available if needed.
• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
• Bending, lifting, and standing required.
• Exposure to noise and weld and grinding smoke at times.
