Overview

At Swenson Spreader, LLC, an Aebi Schmidt brand located in Lindenwood, IL, we pride ourselves on innovation, collaboration, and a dedication to excellence. We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team, responsible for welding metal parts, preparing products for welding, operating welding equipment, and interpreting blueprints to create high-quality welds.

Responsibilities

• Read and build from blueprints to perform quality welds.
• Operate welding machines (manual wire feed, automatic) and adjust welding parameters as needed.
• Weld in multiple positions and perform inspections as required.
• Safely use hand, air, pneumatic, and power tools.
• Utilize cranes and hoists for various tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.

Requirements

• Prior MIG welding experience required; pulse MIG welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various body positions.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and basic math.
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication.
