Overview

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Welder for the 2nd Shift, offering an hourly rate of $24/hr plus a $1/hr shift differential. The role involves working as part of a manufacturing team to achieve goals in the welding department.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding.
• Work from manufacturing information and instructions.
• Determine necessary parts and obtain materials from stock areas.
• Assist other sheet metal fabricators as required.
• Deliver material to/from workstations using material handling equipment.
• Operate spot welders and interface with robotic welding.
• Complete preparation steps such as wiping and grinding components.
• Document and record keeping as required.
• Inspect parts and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain equipment and complete maintenance check sheets.
• Flex to other departments as required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of one year of MIG and TIG welding experience or a technical diploma in welding.
• Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location.
• No immigration sponsorship available for this position.
