Overview

InProduction is a leading provider of temporary seating, staging, structures, and scenic production for the U.S. live events industry. The company seeks a Welder to perform MIG welding on aluminum and steel, with some fabrication duties, while maintaining high production and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Mig welding of aluminum and steel.
• Some fabrication will be required.
• Welding on carbon steel of various thickness with MIG.
• Welding on aluminum of various thickness with MIG.
• Work on other shop equipment such as manual mills, press-brake, saws, grinders, drills, etc.
• Maintain a high level of production while maintaining quality.
• Must be proficient in aluminum and steel.
• Must be able to work un-supervised and maintain productivity.
• Responding to quick turn-around orders; some overtime required.
• Performing well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• Maintain and clean equipment and work area.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3 years’ experience Mig & Tig welding aluminum & steel.
• Certified Welder a plus.
• Must be able to read prints & ACCURATELY read a tape measure.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform related duties and responsibilities of this job, including lifting to 75 lbs.
