  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with specifications.
  • Execute high-precision laser welding on thin-gauge and high-strength alloys while controlling heat input, distortion, and weld integrity.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and pressure-test structural and piping systems.
  • Follow established welding procedures and maintain compliance with applicable industry and quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve fabrication and manufacturing challenges.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and process optimization initiatives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; technical welding certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of welding experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or other high-precision fabrication environments.
  • Strong ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols.
  • Experience with all-position welding (flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead).
  • Demonstrated ability to fabricate and weld carbon steel and stainless steel structures and piping to specifications.
  • Ability to pass welding qualification tests and quality inspections.
  • Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial, outdoor, elevated, or confined-space environments.
