Overview

M&M Recycling is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator for their Locust Grove team, responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy industrial equipment used in scrap metal operations. The ideal candidate should be mechanically inclined, self-motivated, and experienced in working with large machinery in an industrial yard setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, fabrication, and repair work on Dumpsters and heavy equipment such as shredders, cranes, shear cranes, balers, and excavators.
• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical and structural components.
• Work safely and efficiently in outdoor and industrial environments.
• Communicate and coordinate repairs with maintenance and operations teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of welding and equipment repair experience, preferably in heavy industry or scrap metal.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong understanding of safety practices and industrial repair standards.

Additional Information

• Typical Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm and Saturday 8am-12pm (and as needed when equipment is down after hours).
• Location: M&M Recycling - Locust Grove, GA.
