Overview

FabriFast is a fast-growing American sheet metal fabrication company looking for motivated team members to join their manufacturing team in Hartford, WI. The Welder position involves joining and fabricating metal components using various welding techniques, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade.
• Select and install torches, torch tips, filler rods, and flux according to welding specifications.
• Determine required equipment and welding methods, applying knowledge of metallurgy and welding techniques.
• Prepare all material surfaces to be welded, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
• Position and secure workpieces using various tools and equipment.
• Perform other tasks as assigned and required.

Requirements

• Safely operate welding equipment and use safe work habits.
• Accurately MIG/TIG/Robotic weld.
• Have good math ability and problem-solving skills.
• Read and interpret blueprints efficiently.
• Have at least 1-2 years' experience with welding.
