Overview

EK is an in-demand contract manufacturing company seeking a full-time Robot Welder for the night shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding various metals and alloys, be able to read blueprints, and contribute to the team's success.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand American and European blueprints, geometrical call outs, and weld symbols.
• Use GMAW-P, GMAW-S, and GTAW to weld weldments, tanks, and metal parts.
• Perform welding on carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Hand layout weldments with little to no supervision.
• Use fixtures, gauges, and jigs to manufacture welded parts.
• Assist in creating work instructions.
• Complete inspections using calipers, height gauges, protractors, and tape measures.
• Assist with manual tank welding when robot jobs are low.
• Pressure test fuel tanks and hydro test glycol tanks.
• Travel between plants and adapt to product mix requirements.
• Analyze weld processes and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 to 3 years of experience with GMAW-P, GMAW-S, and GTAW.
• Ability to read and interpret American and European blueprints.
• Experience with pressure or hydro testing tanks.
• Must qualify within 90 days of hire in the weld processes.

Additional Information

• Work schedule is 4 - 10 hour days from 03:00PM to 1:00AM (Monday - Thursday).
