Overview

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Welder for the 3rd Shift, responsible for operating various types of welding equipment for repair and production work. The position offers competitive pay and a range of benefits from day one.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of welding equipment for general repair work and production.
• Perform fabrication rework on tanks and parts using engineering information.
• Correct fabrication errors from machine processes.
• Rework field return tanks and parts, ensuring safety during cutting.
• Use all weld fabrication equipment including oxy-acetylene torch and various welders.
• Operate material handling equipment such as cranes and lift trucks.
• Repair leaks on oil-filled units and weld components to transformers.
• Conduct pressure tests on covers and perform internal tank repairs when necessary.

Requirements

• One year Technical diploma in MIG and arc welding or equivalent experience.
• Successfully complete Cooper Power Systems weld test.

Additional Information

• 3rd Shift hours: S-W: 11pm - 7am, Th: 10pm - 6am.
• Sign-on bonus of $2,000 paid in two installments.
