Overview
Panelmatic, Inc. is a company founded in 1957 that specializes in designing and building custom electrical, instrument, and pneumatic control panels. They are seeking a skilled CNC Fabricator to produce sheet metal parts and assist in the fabrication of metal buildings and enclosures.
Responsibilities
- Consult blueprints, work orders, and schematics to construct specified structures.
- Select appropriate materials based on strength requirements.
- Load and unload raw materials and equipment, set up and calibrate accessories, and program the CNC machine.
- Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to required dimensions.
- Measure and cut according to specifications, blueprints, or directions.
- Verify conformance of workpieces to specifications using measuring tools.
- Perform tasks such as punching holes for screws or bending.
- Set up and operate fabricating machines like brakes and shears.
- Coordinate required shutdowns and startups of equipment.
- Develop and maintain records for projects and repairs.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Notify the lead person or Inspector when the product is ready for inspection.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on the CNC machine.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Two plus years of CNC experience required.
- Two plus years of experience in forklift operating required.
- Two plus years of experience using basic tools required.
- Two plus years of experience with shear, brake press, turret punch, band saw, and grinder required.
- Two plus years of experience in applicable Quality Assurance Procedures required.
- High levels of organizational and time management skills required.
- High levels of analytical, observational, and active listening skills required.
- High levels of reliability required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required.
- Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background checks required.
- Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more required.
- Ability to stoop and bend required.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours at a time required.
- Ability to read a tape measure and prints required.
- Ability to convert decimals to fractions and utilize conversion charts required.
- Excellent manual dexterity required.

- Ability to read tape measure down to 1/32" required.
- Ability to read decimals/fractions on measurements required.
