Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, and construction support vehicles.
• Conduct preventative maintenance services including oil changes, brake inspections, hydraulic system checks, and equipment safety inspections.
• Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
• Maintain accurate service records and equipment maintenance logs.
• Coordinate with field personnel and equipment managers to prioritize repair needs.
• Order parts and manage repair timelines to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all equipment meets company safety standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience working on heavy construction equipment or diesel engines.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read service manuals and diagnostic tools.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
