Overview

Looking for an Offshore Rig Mechanic for a 28-day hitch onboard a deepwater offshore production/drilling vessel operating in the Gulf. This is a hands-on offshore mechanic role requiring real offshore mechanical experience and the ability to work independently around heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Tear down and rebuild equipment as necessary.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures.
• Support ongoing offshore operations.
• Respond quickly when equipment goes down.

Requirements

• Previous experience onboard deepwater drillships, semis, intervention vessels, or similar offshore assets is strongly preferred.
• Up-to-date resume.
• Offshore medical certification.
• BOSIET / FOET / THUET certification.
• RigPass or SafeGulf certification.
• TWIC card.
• US Passport or government-issued ID.
