Chemours is seeking a Process Mechanic to join their team at the La Porte Plant in La Porte, TX. The company is focused on creating essential chemistry that improves lives and supports sustainable solutions across various industries.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment within manufacturer’s specifications using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Follow all prescribed safety and environmental practices to prevent injuries and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Maintain, install, repair, and troubleshoot process equipment such as pumps and piping.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent plus at least 5 years of documented industrial maintenance experience in Mechanical maintenance, or 2 years of documented industrial maintenance experience plus an Associate degree, public or military technical training school, or NCCER certification.
• Valid Driver’s License.
