Overview
The Final Assembly position is responsible for sub-assembling smaller parts and ensuring material availability by reviewing work orders. This role is part of a fast-growing, technology-driven manufacturing company that values employee contributions and growth.
Responsibilities
- Review picking sheet.
- Confirm if pick from stock or make from a job.
- Locate job and compare with picking sheet.
- Review drawings for part assembly if available.
- Gather materials to assemble parts.
- Assemble parts.
- Review picking sheet for special instructions.
- Inspect parts for final assembly.
- Sign off on production and picking sheet.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Shop experience in assembly and reading shop prints.
- Familiar with power tools and hand tools, loc-tite glue, and paper cutter.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
- Basic math knowledge which includes the use of measuring tools.
