Overview

The Final Assembly position is responsible for sub-assembling smaller parts and ensuring material availability by reviewing work orders. This role is part of a fast-growing, technology-driven manufacturing company that values employee contributions and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Review picking sheet.
  • Confirm if pick from stock or make from a job.
  • Locate job and compare with picking sheet.
  • Review drawings for part assembly if available.
  • Gather materials to assemble parts.
  • Assemble parts.
  • Review picking sheet for special instructions.
  • Inspect parts for final assembly.
  • Sign off on production and picking sheet.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Shop experience in assembly and reading shop prints.
  • Familiar with power tools and hand tools, loc-tite glue, and paper cutter.
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
  • Basic math knowledge which includes the use of measuring tools.
