Overview

At Allegion, we help keep the people you know and love safe and secure where they live, work and visit. The Welder position involves welding mild and stainless-steel sheet metal and structural steel tubing, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Weld mild and stainless-steel sheet metal from 16 ga to 7 ga thick.
  • Weld structural steel tubing with a .25 wall thickness.
  • Read shop packets and fabricate to company standards.
  • Operate with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of welding experience.
  • Must be able to be qualified per AWS D1.3 within 120 days.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.

  • Shift: 2nd: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
  • Work environment is usually loud.
  • Physical demands include standing for long periods, lifting up to 75 lbs, bending, and twisting.
