Overview

American Equipment Holdings is a leading provider of overhead crane and hoist solutions, serving over 4,000 customers nationwide. They are seeking a Field Install Technician (Ironworker) in Anaheim to join their team and contribute to equipment installation with a focus on safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to install equipment with a focus on safety and customer service.
• Accurately document work performed using electronic forms, software applications, and handwritten reports.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Travel may be required to installation sites.

Requirements

• Iron work/steel erection experience.
• Aptitude for electrical or mechanical environments and familiarity with mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Comfort with working at heights.
• Welding experience in Wire Feed (MIG) and Stick (SMAW).
• Hands-on electro-mechanical maintenance or equivalent military experience is a plus.
• Competence in equipment operation, including reach forklifts and scissor lifts.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proven commitment to safety.
• Passion for doing things right the first time.
• Industry certifications including equipment operator, welding, and rigging are a plus.
• Willingness to work overtime is required.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must pass drug-screen and background check.
