Overview

The Welder position involves performing all aspects of welding work while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role requires effective communication and collaboration within a team environment to meet business demands.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of welding work.
• Safely operate heavy equipment and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist in other jobs within the shop as required, including air arching, drilling, torching, and grinding.
• Stay compliant with all regulatory bodies and safety rules.
• Perform other duties as required and directed by management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations for a goal of zero incidents and injuries.
• Assist in delivering required training to coworkers.
• Communicate consistently on all activities to appropriate individuals.
• Maintain ongoing communication and adhere to company policies.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in all position flux core wire and fitting experience.
• Welds subject to UT weld testing.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Thorough knowledge of operating and documentation procedures.
• Ability to meet deadlines and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to accept constructive criticism and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with others.
