Overview

Progressive Hydraulics, Inc. is hiring a Hydraulic Technician/Fabricator for their Fairfield, NJ location. This hands-on role requires strong mechanical aptitude and experience in building, assembling, and troubleshooting hydraulic systems and power units.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fabricate and test hydraulic systems and HPUs
• Read hydraulic schematics, drawings and BOMs
• Perform tube bending, pipe fitting and component installation
• Troubleshoot, repair, and support field service work as needed
• Maintain a safe, organized work area

Requirements

• Experience with hydraulic systems, components, and schematics
• Ability to read technical drawings and job specs
• Tube bending, piping, and fitting experience preferred
• Welding and metal fabrication experience a plus
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must be able to perform active, hands-on physical work
