Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plant Mechanic to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of precision manufacturing equipment and facility systems, offering significant opportunities for career growth within a successful and innovative company.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment in a precision machine shop and foundry environment.
• Diagnose and execute emergency repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
• Install, modify, upgrade, and commission manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Maintain and update equipment documentation, schematics, and maintenance records to reflect modifications and improvements.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, steam, and hot water systems.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate and work with external contractors and vendors on subcontracted maintenance and repair projects.
• Adhere to all company safety standards, policies, and best practices.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Proven experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Proficiency in using a digital multimeter and standard mechanic's tools.
• Experience with metal and wood fabrication.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
