Job Description
Overview
Grand Canyon University is seeking passionate adjunct faculty for the College of Engineering and Technology to teach Fluid Mechanics and Fluids Lab at the Phoenix campus for the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves engaging students and providing quality instruction in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
Requirements
- Minimum: Master's in Civil Engineering or related field
- Preferred: PhD in Civil Engineering or related field
- Preferred: Civil Engineer PE
- Preferred: 5 years of experience
