Overview

Transdev in Phoenix, AZ is looking for an experienced Level 2 Diesel Mechanic to join their team. This position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines for various vehicles and equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic tests using advanced tools and software to troubleshoot diesel engine issues.
• Perform moderate complexity repairs and replacements on diesel engine components.
• Assist A-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns.
• Lead diagnostic tests to identify complex issues and determine repair strategies.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on diesel engines.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• ASE certifications preferred; ASE certification program provided.
• Mechanic’s Tool Set.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.

Additional Information

• Position subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Starting pay $28.61 with progression to $30.04 over 4 months.
• Company paid ASE testing, training materials, and tool reimbursement.
