As a Hard Goods Associate, you will engage customers in various areas to drive sales and enhance their experience while maintaining a clean and operational environment.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with every customer encountered and offer world class service.
  • Seek out and engage customers throughout the Hard Goods areas.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all Front-End operations.
  • Assist in keeping Hard Goods areas merchandise at a premiere stock and visual level.
  • Ensure all Hard Goods areas, equipment, and supplies are maintained and operational.
  • Maintain the Hard Goods area in a clean, professional presentation.
  • Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge of various golf clubs.
  • Execute proper customer fittings in accordance with PGA TOUR Superstore trained fitting techniques.
  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
  • Assist customers with club fitting for optimal performance.
  • Stay up to date on upcoming merchandising promotions and marketing events.
  • Provide consistent feedback to the Sales and Service Manager on operational and merchandising opportunities.

Requirements

  • Strong listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to organize multiple priorities to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Retail sales, customer service or similar experience preferred.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift a 30 lb. box overhead.
  • Must maintain flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Demonstrate strong self-accountability and a proactive drive for results.
