Overview

Komatsu, a leading global manufacturer and distributor of mining and construction equipment, offers a military transitional program for active duty service members to participate in internship opportunities as Heavy Equipment Service Technicians. Interns will receive training on servicing electric drive trucks and electric shovels while being evaluated for potential full-time positions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair Komatsu construction and mining equipment.
• Receive training on equipment maintenance, instrumentation and control systems, machining, and welding.

Requirements

• Must be a current Active Duty Servicemember.
• Must be separating from the Military in 8-12 months.
• Must be able to complete up to a maximum of 120 days SkillBridge internship.
• Must be able to complete 40 hours per week.
• Willingness to learn and accept developmental feedback.
• Maintenance and/or skilled trades experience is preferred.

Additional Information

• Internships start monthly based on service member availability and chain of command approval.
