Overview

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related mechanical systems on a variety of vehicles and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues accurately.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all maintenance procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Order and manage parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, hydraulics, and electrical components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications (e.g., ASE certification preferred).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy parts and equipment.
