Overview

ND Sheets, a division of ND Paper, specializes in providing sheet converting solutions by transforming high-quality paper rolls into customized sheet sizes. They are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to ensure the continuous operation and maintenance of critical equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic pipe fitting and layout; welding and fabrication.
• Conduct power rigging for both stationary and mobile cranes without supervision.
• Repair and rebuild all pumps and gearboxes, vacuum, hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, abrasion, and pressure systems.
• Read technical drawings and manuals.
• Assist with developing and executing preventative maintenance programs.
• Perform general housekeeping duties and other assigned tasks.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly.
• Must possess ambulatory capabilities to move freely about the mill.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products is required.
• Demonstrate major troubleshooting skills and perform work safely.
• Engineering skills preferred; knowledge of pumps and gearbox sizing is a plus.

• Must be able to work independently and prioritize work.
• Must effectively communicate and work in a team environment.
• Must have a telephone and live within a reasonable commuting distance of the mill.
• Must be able to work shift work, overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Must be able to respond to call-ins.
