Overview

Penn Life Sciences is seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our team in Langhorne, PA. The Mechanic will perform mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment changeovers in support of sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with cGMP, FDA, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical maintenance, repair, and adjustment of manufacturing and facility equipment.
  • Execute equipment changeovers in accordance with approved SOPs and production requirements.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities per established schedules.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Complete maintenance documentation in compliance with ALCOA+ principles.
  • Support equipment installations, inspections, and modifications.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Prior experience in a pharmaceutical or cGMP-regulated environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and maintain manufacturing equipment.
  • Working knowledge of cGMPs, safety requirements, and Good Documentation Practices.
  • Ability to read and follow SOPs and technical manuals.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain gowning qualification.
