Overview

Klover is a commercial carpentry subcontractor and manufacturer of prefabricated wall panel systems, seeking a Structural Ironworker – Deck & Joists to install various structural flooring systems and ensure quality standards. The role requires familiarity with tools, blueprints, and safety protocols, while offering competitive benefits for dedicated professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately measure and read dimensions with a tape measure.
  • Assist foreman with proper layout for work.
  • Fabricate or alter parts using various tools.
  • Join materials with fasteners or adhesives.
  • Use levels and other tools to ensure proper installation.
  • Check work to meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Install rigging and hoisting equipment.
  • Install flooring systems according to specifications.
  • Maneuver and anchor units for installation.
  • Perform optional welding tasks.
  • Work at heights on elevated platforms.
  • Maintain a clean and productive work area.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly.
  • Set up and safely use company equipment.
  • Maintain welding certification.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Participation in a secondary or post-secondary trade curriculum.
  • 1+ year experience with floor joist, metal deck, or structural steel installation.
  • Knowledge of construction safety devices and PPE.
  • 1+ year experience with stick welding is preferred.
  • Rigging and Signaling experience is a plus.
  • Basic carpentry knowledge.

Additional Information

  • Worksites are within a 70-mile radius of Quakertown, PA.
  • Position may involve exposure to extreme weather conditions and hazards.
