Responsibilities
- Comply with all federal and state environmental, health and safety regulations.
- Perform job in compliance with Greene, Tweed & Co. Quality Policy.
- Conduct all pre-molding operations and run pre-molding equipment as required.
- Perform mold prepping, molding, and press operations, troubleshooting as needed.
- Degate/waterjet, finish, and visually inspect parts to ensure quality.
- Conduct all inspection requirements using various measuring systems.
- Perform non-destructive testing as required.
- Execute post molding, assembly operations, and component installation.
- Follow all SPC, process, and assembly procedures.
- Read and follow detailed part/assembly drawings.
- Perform warehouse functions for finished part receipts and packing.
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility and equipment.
- Record information on GT data collection system as required.
- Load and unload fixtures as necessary.
- Maintain annual quality certification and ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with team members and customers.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret production drawings and work instructions.
- Must have worked pay Grade 9 or higher for the last 12 months or have 12 months of thermoplastic molding experience.
- Knowledge and application of mechanical and inspection tools.
- Ability to pass a skills assessment covering relevant skills.
