Overview

The Shop Support Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance of Base and Line Maintenance support equipment, utilizing appropriate equipment and materials for various maintenance functions. This role requires a commitment to safety and the ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on Base and Line Maintenance support equipment.
• Utilize appropriate equipment and materials for routine and non-routine maintenance.
• Inspect, service, troubleshoot, repair, and replace equipment.
• Complete POI on GSE and manage pickup/delivery of equipment.
• Overhaul all Base and Line Maintenance support equipment.
• Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
• Be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Achieve satisfactory scores on assessments for essential job functions.
• Pass pre-employment screenings.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Read and write English and comprehend technical manuals.
• Multi-task and work under pressure.
• Perform satisfactorily in the current position if transferring internally.
