Overview
The Shop Support Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance of Base and Line Maintenance support equipment, utilizing appropriate equipment and materials for various maintenance functions. This role requires a commitment to safety and the ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and travel.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on Base and Line Maintenance support equipment.
- Utilize appropriate equipment and materials for routine and non-routine maintenance.
- Inspect, service, troubleshoot, repair, and replace equipment.
- Complete POI on GSE and manage pickup/delivery of equipment.
- Overhaul all Base and Line Maintenance support equipment.
- Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes.
Requirements

- Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Achieve satisfactory scores on assessments for essential job functions.
- Pass pre-employment screenings.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Read and write English and comprehend technical manuals.
- Multi-task and work under pressure.
- Perform satisfactorily in the current position if transferring internally.
