Overview
Siemens has been a key provider of infrastructure, electrification, and transportation solutions in the U.S. for over 160 years. The Parts Washing Technician will operate various part washers and ensure quality standards are met while contributing to the reliability of rail systems.
Responsibilities
- Operate manual part washer, automatic part washer, and pressure washer.
- Safely load and unload parts from part washers.
- Use crane and other washer station equipment to load and unload heavy parts.
- Inspect parts and components to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform level one preventative maintenance on washer machines.
- Stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to physically lift 35 pounds.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (read, speak, write).
- Ability to collaborate successfully in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to learn and process information quickly.
- Ability to work safely and operate power tools and equipment.
- Previous Siemens experience preferred.

Additional Information
- Shift: 5:30pm-4:00am with 2-3 months of training on 1st shift (6:30am-5:00pm).
