Overview

Barron Industries, founded in 1983, is a leading investment casting and precision machining company serving the aerospace and defense industries. They are seeking a Certified TIG Welder to join their 1st shift team in Oxford, MI, focusing on producing high-quality components for critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision TIG welding on aluminum and ferrous metals for aerospace and defense components.
• Work to exacting specifications in a NADCAP-accredited facility.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions.
• Maintain weld quality standards per AS9100 and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to ensure mission-critical components meet specifications.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Active AWS certification, or at a NADCAP accredited facility.
• Proven TIG welding experience with Aluminum and ferrous metals.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., sit and stand for long periods, pass welder vision exam.
