The TIG Welder position involves fitting, joining, and fabricating metal materials while ensuring safety and production standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Fits, joins, fabricates, and assembles metal and other weldable materials using appropriate welding techniques.
• Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine the appropriate welding process.
• Works with thin wall piping.
• Promotes and supports safety and production.
• Maintains cleanliness of assigned work area.
• Completes and follows all safety procedures and policies.
• Performs other work as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of a Welder Training Program.
• Proficient in all positions with GTAW.
• Proficient in knowledge of blueprint reading and welding symbols.
• Proficient in welding best practices.
• Proficient in visual inspection.
• Must complete and pass a welding test.
• Ability to adhere to Company Standards and Values.
• Ability to meet expectations for attendance and performance.
• Ability to meet deadlines for assignments.
• Ability to interact personably with co-workers and associates.
