Overview

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a General Welder for the 1st Shift to operate various types of welding equipment in Transformer assembly lines. This position offers competitive pay and a range of benefits from day one.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of welding equipment including plasma arc torch, tig-welder, mig-welders, and robotic mig welder.
• Work from basic prints, computer readouts, written and verbal instructions, and material lists.
• Operate material handling equipment including bridge cranes, jib cranes, and manually operated hand trucks.
• Place weld-on and bolt-on covers to units and perform pressure tests using air and soap.
• Perform low voltage aluminum and copper welding and mild and stainless-steel cover welding.
• Work in Transformer assembly positions as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of assembly experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of welding experience in a manufacturing environment or completion of a 1-year technical diploma in welding.
• Must be able to work in the US without requiring company sponsorship.
• Candidates must live within 50 miles of Waukesha WI, with exceptions for Active Duty Military Service members.

Additional Information

• Shift hours are from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.
