Overview

Stericycle, now part of WM, is seeking a Manager Maintenance-Incinerator to oversee maintenance personnel and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards. This leadership role focuses on improving maintenance management systems and reducing equipment failures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance personnel ensuring compliance with safety and health directives.
• Establish year over year improvements within an effective maintenance management system.
• Maintain equipment records and manage the purchase of components for projects.
• Work with outside machine vendors to acquire fabricated parts.
• Track equipment history and define preventative maintenance practices.
• Conduct predictive analysis of process systems and equipment.
• Generate work orders for equipment malfunctions and assign personnel.
• Support Stericycle’s commitment to safety and compliance with policies.
• Manage troubleshooting and repairs of electric motors and wiring.
• Ensure neatness of wiring boxes at all times.
• Manage installation of conduit runs and small control boxes.
• Oversee maintenance of hydraulic systems and general troubleshooting.
• Manage the proper use of power tools associated with metal machining.
• Perform welding repairs and installations.
• Responsible for hiring, training, and development of Maintenance Technicians.
• Oversee contractors to ensure quality of work and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred or 10 years of equivalent maintenance management experience.
• Driver’s License.
• Boiler, Welding, or Electrical Certification.
• PLC Certification.

Additional Information

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM Start Time Nights & Weekends as needed for shutdowns.
