Overview

T1 Energy is focused on revitalizing solar manufacturing in the U.S. by creating a domestic solar supply chain. They are seeking a Rework Operator to manage the rework of solar modules while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive and execute day-to-day rework of modules.
• Use specialized equipment to solder components together.
• Ensure the soldering process meets Trina Solar quality standards.
• Train other workers in the rework process.
• Set up and maintain soldering equipment.
• Keep records of all repair activities.
• Perform 5S in respective areas.
• Communicate production information to oncoming shift.
• Perform all duties in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner.
• Perform repairs of cell strings and modules.
• Use test equipment to verify temperatures of workstation and soldering iron.
• Verify quality of soldering using imaging and electrical testing.
• Assemble circuits requiring fine hand assembly.
• Verify cell grade, manufacturer, and color series by correctly reading labels.
• Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

• One year or more of soldering experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents, manuals, and instructions.
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment to meet production targets and deadlines.

Additional Information

• 12-hour shift 4-3 / 3-4.
• Location: Wilmer, Texas.
