Overview
Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Assembler to join Teledyne Micropac, focusing on electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations. Responsibilities
- Follow production drawings, procedures, and work instructions in detail.
- Ensure that quality checks are completed throughout the manufacturing process.
- Operate and set up Manual Wire Bonding equipment for thermosonic gold wire and aluminum wire bonding.
- Collaborate with teammates, quality control, and process engineers to ensure product specifications are met.
- Maintain attentiveness to details and adhere to safety and cleanliness protocols.
- Assist with training as required.
- Perform production assembler duties as determined by Supervisor.
- Conduct delicate hand assembly of electronic devices using solder, epoxy, and wire bonding techniques under microscopes.
- Inspect completed work to meet quality requirements.
Requirements
- Possess excellent manual dexterity and manufacturing knowledge.
- Experience with small parts, small hand tools, equipment, and microscope is required.
- Ability to read and work from engineer drawings, work instructions, and bills of material.
- Possess a solid, quality-minded work ethic with strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) control is required.
- High School Diploma and basic computer skills are necessary.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing assembly, production environment, or cleanroom experience is essential.
