Overview

DC Fabricators is seeking a talented NDT Inspector to join their team at the manufacturing facility in Florence, NJ. The role involves performing inspections and ensuring high-quality components are delivered safely and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections on parts, assemblies, and fabrications according to drawings and specifications.
• Set up and conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and gauges.
• Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) including methods such as Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, Visual Testing, Radiographic Testing, and Ultrasonic Testing.
• Record inspection results and determine the disposition of inspected components.
• Work with customer representatives to support required inspection hold points and quality verification.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation for all inspections performed.
• Conduct material identification surveillance in the shop and storage areas.
• Support receiving inspection activities to ensure incoming materials meet specifications.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures while maintaining a clean work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in NDT or dimensional inspection preferred.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program is a plus.
• Minimum two years of NDT and/or dimensional inspection experience in an industrial or machine shop environment required.
• Additional quality inspection experience preferred.
• Fabrication or weld inspection experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills including working knowledge of ERP systems and email systems required.
• US Citizenship required at time of hire.
