Overview

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Fabricator II for the 2nd shift, responsible for resistance welding and riveting parts while ensuring quality standards are met. The position offers an hourly wage of $21.07 and various benefits from day one of employment.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety policies and procedures, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment.
• Perform job duties in a manner that follows Eaton’s Quality standards and systems.
• Resistance weld and/or rivet parts according to prescribed methods specifications.
• Set up resistance welder to include selecting tips, post, arms, tooling, welder control settings, air pressure, etc.
• Inspect parts and quality of welds using a variety of measuring tools.
• Perform rework operations as required.
• Interpret orders and drawings to determine procedures and conduct work according to drawing specifications.
• Work independently and alongside others in the department.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas using Eaton’s 5S procedures.
• Cross-train in various areas of the department and train new employees in the area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand throughout working shift and work overtime as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution is required.
• Must not be on a written or a final written warning.
• Employees must complete at least six months in their current role before becoming eligible to apply for another position.
