Overview

The Welder position involves performing various welding tasks using techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on different metals. The role requires interpreting blueprints and ensuring high-quality fabrication and assembly while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Assemble and fabricate metal parts and structures according to blueprints and specifications.
• Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Inspect welds and finished products for accuracy, strength, and adherence to specifications.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Adhere to safe work practices to prevent accidents and injuries.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a welder in a fabrication shop or similar environment.
• Hands-on experience with various welding techniques and metalworking equipment.
• Ability to interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in various positions.
• Must be dependable, punctual and possess an excellent work ethic.
• Must be comfortable working in a high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations.
