Overview

Hydro-Thermal Corporation is seeking a skilled Welder specializing in Tig Welding to join their team in a clean, air-conditioned environment with 3-day weekends. The company values technical competence, customer responsiveness, and community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform all position welding on various metals and alloys conforming to ASME code.
• Work from drawings and job layouts.
• Weld using positioners.
• Schedule pipe-fitting/welding sch 10,40.
• Weld stainless and carbon pipes.
• Examine materials to verify composition.
• Review assembly blueprints and shop order instructions.
• Determine type of equipment and appropriate WPS.
• Lay out, cut, and fit material for welding.
• Review work for quality and conformance to specifications.
• Display core competency in system skid fabrication process.
• Assist Engineering with questions related to WPS or fabricated components.
• Adhere to general plant safety and 5S practices.

Requirements

• Five years of welding experience, preferably with austenitic, super austenitic, and precipitation hardening stainless steels.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Vocational education or relevant experience preferred.
