Sulzer is a leading engineering company with a proud heritage of innovation. The Jr. Machinery Mechanic is responsible for assisting in the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery under close supervision, supporting senior mechanics in diagnosing issues and performing basic repairs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in inspecting and maintaining machinery and mechanical systems.
• Perform basic repairs and part replacements.
• Support preventive maintenance routines.
• Clean and organize tools and work areas.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards.
• Document maintenance activities.
• Learn and apply mechanical troubleshooting techniques.

Requirements

• May require basic vocational training or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to carry out assigned tasks after initial instruction or demonstration.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
